This page serves as an interim Cooperative Extension Handbook.  The current CE handbook is presently under review.

This compilation of weblinks serves to direct NC State University Cooperative Extension Service employees to pertinent NCSU Policies and Regulations that are applicable to them.  Employees of NC A&T State University Cooperative Extension Program are directed to the NCA&TSU policies and regulations link below, or to contact Dr. Celvia Stovall, Associate Administrator, or Chiquita McAllister, Personnel and Finance Officer, for guidance on policy application and assistance with interpretation. 

In many instances, an Office of State Personnel (OSP) or University of North Carolina system (UNC Code) policy guides both Universities; in others, the respective Board of Trustees of each University has established separate policies, regulations, and procedures.  During the timeframe of reviewing and updating the Cooperative Extension handbook, employees of the respective Universities, while still operating under the mission and vision of “One Extension” in all aspects of program delivery, are advised to seek guidance in the application of specific policies and procedures that may affect each University’s employees differently.
